At this point, our journey is over. We want to summarize our experiences, especially thank you for being with us on our screen adventure.
For us it has been a unique experience, we are very tired but very grateful.
Peru has been great so we give it an absolute pass. We encourage you to travel always, it’s the best you’ll ever get.

We are nearing the end of the trip. Today we have arisen and we have gone to do a tour exactly of ¨Tour a las Chullpas de Sillustani¨, on this tour we have been picked up at the hotel and on the way we have made a stop at a viewpoint where we have been watching Puno from above. When we have arrived we have made a route with a guide.
What we have seen today are stone towers that were used by various cultures. When we were back we stopped at a local house, where we saw the way of life in the area, we were able to taste typical foods and take photos of ourselves. At the end they have left us at the airport, today we spend the night in Paracas. At the end of the tour we have appreciated the Umayo lake, which is located in front of the archaeological zone. The guide has told us some legends and one that we liked to see is that in its central part it has a peculiar flat island.
Today we have got up very early to enjoy the day, although we are tired of all the activities that we are doing, we have gotten up with energy to continue with our trip. We have had breakfast at the hotel and we have started to make the tour on Lake Titicaca: Uros and Taquile Island, when we have arrived and we have embarked on the shores of the lake, we have reserved a boat with 8 hours of duration. We begin the route and arrive at our first stop on the famous floating islands of the Uros, there we will disembark on one of the main islands to meet the descendants of the people. Here we will discover everything about one of the first cultures, while we admire this impressive artificial archipelago that is built with an aquatic plant called reeds, this has surprised us a lot. After this visit, we returned to the boat and headed towards Taquile Island, the largest in Lake Titicaca. There we have delved into the local culture exploring handmade garments. At the end, we made a stop to regain strength with a traditional lunch and with this we said goodbye to the island.
Today we have set out for the bus terminal of Cusco that goes to Puno. This journey has lasted approximately 11 hours.
During the whole trip we have done the Route of the Sun, the first stop has been Andahuaylillas. Here we have seen the Temple of Saint Peter the Apostle known as the Sistine Chapel of America.
The next stop has been the Raqchi Archaeological Complex where the Temple of Wiracocha (The Supreme God of the Incas) stands out.
We have stopped in Sicuani where we have had lunch typical Andean food, it had option for vegetarians too. It has been great, there was a huge variety of food and was it was delicious. ( You can see photos of the restaurant below).
We continue with El Paso La Raya, it is the highest point of the route. They have given us time to take pictures of theNevado de Chimboya, a mountain that makes the border between Cusco and Puno.
The next stop was at the Pukara Lithic Museum.
The last stop was at the Kalassaya Archaeological Complex, where the Kalassaya pyramid stands out with a height of 30 metres.
Finally we arrived in Puno. The bus ride has been exhausting but it has been very worthwhile, we have loved to learn about the Inca culture and Pucará culture. Here you have a video made by one of the tourit guides that form the company which travels to the Route of the Sun.
